Whats more important to Obama? American Healthcare or the mourning troops at fort hood in Texas?

When faced with the decision which is priority? Supporting our nations health care reform or going to support the mourning troops at fort hood?

51 people injured and 13 people shot dead. In the New York post Ralph Peter goes about criticizing Obamas decision.

“We just say the worst terror on American since 9/11. And Obama couldn’t adjust his schedule to support our grieving troops” reported Peters, “Obama may be shamed into visiting FL Hood at some point but his priority since Thursday has remained socializing American medicine. What happens in Texas, stays in Texas. Move on? Yes we can!”.

I personally don't see how he has the right to criticize the president because I think better health care is something our nation needs desperately. But even if Obama had decided to go to Fort Hood to give a speech to support the troops what would that have done? Nothing. Nothings going to bring the people lost back nor would it heal those injured. Instead he went and supported the house vote on reforming our health care system, something thats actually going to make a difference!
